At a week's notice Gary found himself in Las Vegas, billed to face the
legend of Rick Roufus in the first round of this eight man tournament.
Gary had an mri scan, blood tests, dope tests, physical examinations,
and extensive eye examinations over the following three days.
Unfortunately, Gary failed to reach the minimum standard for eye sight,
being too short sited for the Nevada State Commission to allow him to
fight. Disappointed, but accepting of the rules, Gary had to watch Remy
Bonjaski's impressive from the stands.
